Famous for all year activities. It is situated on the southern coastal area and from December to May is the peak Holiday Season. This Beach has calm water, so it’s good for swimming. You can experience local food in the Town of Galle and try your hands on shopping.

GETTING THERE: Nearest Airport is Colombo and then you have to hire a taxi which will take around 8 to 9 hours to arugam.
Kalpitiya is Famous for Sea Safari. Most amazing sea creatures you will get to see here. Reach at the Kalpitiya bay as early as seven in morning and head off on the boat to spot spectacular creatures of the sea. Expect to watch Dolphins, Whales and many more amazing species. The best time to visit Kalpitiya bay is from February to March.
