When I checked TripAdvisor today to answer some travel questions. I see a lot of people are confused about Cherry Blossoms and a lot of questions have been posted by them. So, I thought about writing about it in detail so travelers can read and plan their travel accordingly.
Well, there is a very small window in the entire year when people will be able to experience this magical moment. And Cherry Blossoms moment is coming soon, start planning your trip now. There are few places where you can encounter Blossoms moments.
SEOUL: 6th to 13th APRIL
There are two main points in Seoul where you can enjoy these cherry blossoms. One is Yeouido Spring Flower Festival, Yeouiseo-ro Street and the other one is Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival. There are other places to spot cherry blossoms Outside Kyung Hee University, Seoul Forest, Seoul Grand Park and outside the five grand palaces in Seoul. Cherry Blossoms last for a week.

JEJU ISLAND: 23 TO 30 MARCH
Jeju Island is known for its fresh seafood, golden beaches and volcanic landscapes but in the winter season, this place is magical. Seogwipo is the best place to see soft pink Hue. Also, don’t miss out on their canola flower festivals when you are there.
BUSAN AND GYEONGSANGNAM-DO: 29TH MARCH TO 2ND APRIL
Jinhae Gunhangje Cherry Blossom Festival know for its ironic cherry trees, that you find around southern port of Jinhae. Take a photo at Romance Bridge over Yeojwacheon stream and save it in your album, as no one visits these places again and again so capture as much as you can. There are other places like: Hwagae Cherry blossoms festival, Ecological park in Naesu-myeon, Gyeonghwa station, Jungwon rotary, Jehwangsan park and Korea Naval Academy.

GWANGJU: 29TH MARCH TO 5TH APRIL
Near the same time as Busan there is Gwangju for Cherry Blossoms. But this one is different from the Juknokwon Bamboo Forest – it is more scenic with those bursts of silky white flowers.
Other places to spot cherry blossoms are Outside Gwangju National Museum and Sajik Park.
DAEGU: 26TH MARCH TO 2 APRIL
The last week of March and early April is the time for cherry blossoms in South Korea. So you can make your way to any of these places to encounter this magical moment.
The lovely cherry blossoms can be spotted outside of Yongyeonsa temple. And other places are Durya Park, Seongseo University and Jijeo-dong cherry blossom tunnel.
GYEONGJU: EARLY APRIL
This is even more amazing. South Korea organize Marathon during cherry blossoms without fail. Its runs include 10km and 5km running events. The amazing thing is, the whole route you will find with gorgeous cherry blossoms. The route goes via Bomunho Lake.
More places to spot cherry blossoms Dongbu Historic site and Bomun Tourist Complex.
JEOLLA PROVINCE: LATE MARCH TO EARLY APRIL
Now this place offers exciting things such as traditional drum performance, a paragliding contest, puzzle games, flower and face painting. Enjoy these activities with Cherry blossoms at Wolmyeong Dong Park, Boseong Daewonsa temple.
GANGWON-DO: EARLY APRIL TO MID APRIL
Gyeongpoho lake is surrounded by a 4km path of blooming cherry trees. And Nami Island also another place to spot cherry blossoms.
INCHEON: 9TH TO 15TH APRIL
There is a park which is filled with pretty cherry flowers. Incheon grand park cherry blossoms festival and it mainly ends in mid April. So if you miss in march then this is the best place to catch it up. Jayu Park is one more place to spot cherry blossoms.
